Financial Sales Salary Data

Don’t bet everything on GME yet, you can make good money selling securities and other financial investments, with the median sale agent making $67,480. However, earnings can range from anywhere from $40,200 all the way up to the highest 10 percent of sales reps earning $189,620.

Keep in mind starting brokers need to build a client base before they start seeing big checks.

All finance jobs aren’t created equal, and if you want the top earning seat at the table you should consider institutional sales of financial products, where compensation is typically $165,000 according to a 2019 CFA Institute compensation study.
