If You Don’t Practice These 5 Habits, You’re Losing Sales🧾
A good salesperson is enthusiastic, insightful, and adaptable. And while we can argue that some folks are predisposed to possess these traits, no one masters them without years of practice. In other words, it’s our habits that determine how we perform and therefore our ability to achieve. Failure to develop good habits is a surefire way to miss quotas, chase off prospects, and flat-out suck at your job.
Here are five habits you’ll want to practice to make sure that isn’t you:
Identify and stick to buyer personas: If you don’t know your buyers, then you don’t know their challenges. In other words, you can’t help them!
Know your product: If you don’t know your product, you can’t know if a prospect is a good fit.
Use a measurable, repeatable sales process: If your process isn’t refined, you’ll encounter frustrations more than success. Translation: you’re not closing.
Review your pipeline objectively: If you don’t understand what parts of the sales process need ironing out, you’re hardly improving.
Find shortcuts and hacks: Hard work is overrated. Find the quickest, most effective ways to help more clients and close like crazy. The point is to help people, not burst a blood vessel.
If any of these look foreign to you, maybe head on over to HubSpot for the full breakdown. There are 21 additional habits that deserve your attention (and application). Read it here.
